DIABUDDIES DASH 5K/10K
2017 & 2018
The Diabuddies Dash 5k/10k walk & run brought those living with T1D, friends, families, & supporters, as well as avid runners to Keizer, Oregon for a morning of living active and showing support. Participants received official race results from Eclectic Edge racing. The event was presented by May Trucking Company and made possible by many others including the Keizer Police Department & Dutch Bros.
Pacific northwest diabetes week
2010-2012
In partnership with Novo Nordisk, the Chris Dudley Foundation developed the Pacific Northwest Diabetes Week with Circle on the Court as the main event. The designated week emphasized Diabetes awareness and education, and providing resources. Circle on the Court took place at the Moda Center with the support of the Portland Trail Blazers and included screenings, support, and a kids sports clinic!

CDF GOLF CLASSIC
2011
The CDF Golf Classic was hosted at Charbonneau Golf Club in Willsonville, OR. The event raised money to support the Chris Dudley Basketball Camp and other Chris Dudley Foundation programs. Special Guests included Bill Schonely, play-by-play announcer for the Portland Trail Blazers. The event featured a helicopter ball drop and silent auction.

Special thanks to the Dollar Family for hosting this fundraiser to support the Chris Dudley Foundation. Supporters enjoyed great food, an auction, raffles, and a car show. The Chris Dudley Foundation would not be possible without generous supporters like these!
Portland’s Who’s who night out
2004 & 2005
Portland’s Who’s Who Night Out featured a Celebrity Texas Hold Em tournament at the award-winning Oba! restaurant in Portland’s Pearl District. The event was attended and supported by several NBA players including Clyde Drexler, Scottie Pippen, & Damon Stoudamire, as well as many other public figures. All proceeds from the event went to support the Chris Dudley Foundation.

2015-2019
Chris Dudley and the Chris Dudley Foundation have joined the Oregon/Southwest Washington Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at their annual Type 1 Nation Summit. Type 1 Nation has been held primarily on the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon. Chris helps host the event as a guest speaker and panel moderator.
Advocating for Diabetes Research

In 2005, Chris Dudley joined others in testifying during a Special Committee meeting with Senators Collins, Smith, Kohl, Wyden, Lincoln, Carper, & Clinton to advocate for the support of funding Diabetes research.
GREETING THE PRESIDENT
2004
Chris Dudley, his wife Chris Love, and CDBC Camper, Tyler Byrne were given the honor of greeting President George W. Bush as Freedom Corps Greeters at the Portland Air National Guard Base in Portland, Ore.
JDRF CHILDREN’S CONGRESS

In the Summer of 2003, Chris Dudley joined youth delegates from all 50 states in Washington D.C. to meet with top decision makers about Diabetes research and funding.
