In February 2021, The Chris Dudley Foundation collaborated with the Diabetes Research Connection to host a Virtual Meet and Greet event. Chris shared his story of being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 16 and going on to become the first person with Type 1 diabetes to compete in the NBA.
